A few months ago we joined writer and chef Sang Kim for a conversation around reframing trauma. We were thrilled to get Sang's perspective as one who has lived life from so many different vantage points — there is so much here in this interview! We touch on the search for "home," crossovers between art forms, cooking as a source of joy, what it takes to be a great improviser, and reframing trauma through daily practice. He’s promoting his upcoming reality TV show (summer 2023) so we thought thought it was a good time to re-share an early episode that speaks to the beginnings of that series.

Nat has got a book out and in it she talks about developing a relational reading practice. You’ll have to read the book to really dig into the concept but the heart of it is text-based community building. Our kids have been doing this since they were really little! Who’s your relational reading buddy?

Scratch out “academia” from this text and insert whatever world you find yourself in for work — we have a feeling the list of takeaways still stand. Take care of one another this coming week dear reframeables!
